India successfully test-fired short-range ballistic missile ‘Pralay’ from Abdul Kalam island off the Odisha coast, a defense official said on Tuesday.
Developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), the missile launch around 09: 50 achieved all of its mission objectives.
Tracking tools closely followed its path along the coast.
“Pralay” is a surface-to-surface missile with a range of 350 to 500 km and a payload of 500 to 1,000 kg.
This missile is designed for deployment along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and Line of Control (LoC).
