Human lifespan till 120 years?, US doctor claims stem cell research will make it possible in next couple of years.

Since the early 1900s, human life expectancy has increased dramatically around the world thanks to remarkable advances in science and health care. The development of vaccines and appropriate means of treatment has helped humanity overcome a number of diseases that were considered fatal a few decades ago.

If all goes well, people will find themselves living to be 120 years old in the next few years. According to a report in the New York Post, Dr. Ernst von Schwarz estimates that thanks to stem cell research, humans will survive to be 150 years old by the end of the century.

Dr. Ernst is a triple board-certified internist, cardiologist, and heart transplant specialist at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and the Heart Institute of the Hospital of Southern California. He has written books such as “The Secret of Immortality” and “The Secret World of Stem Cell Therapy.”

“I believe we can create longevity. It is likely that within a few years, people will be able to live to 120, 150 or even longer,” Dr. Ernst told the New York Post.

“And not just as bedridden, uncommunicative individuals, but actually as active individuals who can participate in social life, professional life and have quality of life. Because that is the goal,” Dr. Ernst added.

However, Dr. Ernst emphasizes that this would not be possible without a healthy diet and regular exercise. He emphasized that the age of 30 is the time when we need to change our lifestyle to live long.

Speaking about stem cell research, Dr. Ernst said: “Over the past few years, we have moved from what we call reactive medicine to what we now call regenerative medicine using Weak stem cell therapies from stem cells. »

“Even though stem cells are not FDA approved, this is the future of medicine where we can reverse the damage. And by repairing the damage, we can extend lifespan or even reduce certain aging processes,” he added.

However, according to official records, only one person in human history lived to be 120 years old. Jeanne Calment, French, passed away in 1997 at the age of 122 years and 164 days, the only person to achieve this achievement. Even Calment’s longevity has been called into question by theories that Calment’s daughter actually impersonated her.
