Google’s new AI feature allows users to preview clothes on different body types

A brand new “virtual try-on” app from Google allows customers to view clothes on a variety of real-life models while also giving them the option to choose different body shapes. This technology is based on general artificial intelligence (AI).

The tech giant wrote in a blog post: “With our new virtual try-on feature in search, you can see if an item is right for you before you buy it. Users can tap products with the “Try” icon when searching to access the feature, then choose the model that works best for them. The tech giant also said that thanks to machine learning and a new image-matching algorithm, US consumers can now enhance items using elements like color, style and pattern.
